Removal of the steering wheel
The removal of the steering wheel can be difficult because it’s most likely stuck by rust and dust. But however here are some methods to make it easier and get the wheel off undamaged. Follow the next steps to succeed
Remove steering wheel nut and horn button.
Squirt some WD-40 or other penetrating oil between the inner threads of the wheel and let it soak. try to remove the wheel. I Now f it comes of easily you are lucky.
If not you use a steering wheel puller. The puller puts pressure on the wheel and the steering wheel shaft so the wheel pops off. You can buy a steering wheel puller from from harbour freight tools dor something like 20$ Or make your own.
IMPORTANT: When trying to remove the wheel, especially when pulling on it, leave the nut on a couple of turns so it doesn't fly off an break your nose (don't ask me how I know).
