2.5.1 Grommets

Firewall grommets were rubber from start of production thru approximately August ‘42. After this time, rubber grommets were replaced with grommets made of heavy brown/gray felt material. Rubber grommets, when installed should be of natural rubber (not shiny plastic), and have very rounded shoulders.
