6.0.9 Markings
Factory Markings included the U.S.A. Registration number on both sides of hood and on rear panel on vehicles not equipped with the liquid container bracket.
GPWs which completed the radio interference suppression tests were marked with the letter S on both sides of the cowl. Most GPWs were so marked.
Factory applied markings were lusterless blue drab throughout the entire production.
Stencils used for applying registration numbers were of the adhesive backed variety and did not include “webs” for support. Therefore, all markings should be solid, without stencil web gaps.
